Join the Friends! New members are always welcome. We appreciate your support and can always use your talents at the Book Sales, on our Executive Board, at the Friendshop or in the Reading to Seniors program. Individual Membership - $15 (one person) Student Membership (with valid ID) - $10 Family Membership - $25 (for four family members at the same address) Supporting Membership - $40 (one person) Lifetime Membership - $150 (one-time fee) How to Join Print the Friends Membership Brochure or pick one up at any library branch. Your completed application may be dropped off with your membership dues to any GVPL Branch. You may also mail your cheque and completed form to the address provided. Benefits of being a member: If you work at book sales, you get "first pick" to purchase up to 12 books! (Working at these book sales can be a lot of fun, too.) A subscription to our Friends of the Library Newsletter. The satisfaction of helping raise funds for library materials and programs for the Greater Victoria Public library which enhance our community. The opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and feel GOOD about supporting your library!
