Last year, Rosemary Sullivan won the RBC Taylor Prize for her acclaimed book, Stalin's Daughter. This year's shortlist of exceptional Canadian non-fiction titles features biographies about Claude Monet and Guglielmo Marconi, a memoir about falling in love with a prison inmate serving a life sentence, and personal narratives about surviving Auschwitz, and combat in Lebanon. The winner will be announced March 6th. All books are available for borrowing at gvpl.ca.  http://www.cbc.ca/books/mobile/touch/2017/01/5-books-make-the-rbc-taylor-prize-shortlist.html
